Keithly Model 580 Micro-Ohmmeter combines high accuracy, resolution and sensitivity with three special capabilities that make micro-ohm measurements easier and more versatile than ever. It has 4 1/2 digit resolution and ensures a dry circuit condition by clamping the open circuit test voltage to 20mV on the 200mohm, 2ohm and 20ohm ranges when the 20mV MAX button is pressed. This unit can test more devices by enabling both test current polarity and waveform to be selected. The optional IEEE-488 bus interface (5802) permits operation as a stand-alone unit as well as in a PC-based system. Resistance measurements can be made from 10microohms to 200 kohms on seven ranges.
